Badgley Mischka is the fashion design team of James Mischka and Mark Badgley.
James Mischka was born in Burlington, Wisconsin, in 1960.
Mark Badgley was born East St. Louis, Illinois in 1961.
They both attended and graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York.
In 1985, they formed their own company.
They opened a showroom in the Hells Kitchen district of Manhattan.
They won the Mouton Cadet Young Designer Award in 1989.
They then were awarded thye Dallas International Apparel Rising Star Award in 1992.
