Adeline Andre was born in Bangui, French Equatorial Africa in 1949 and studied at the School of the Syndicate Chamber of Parisian Couture.
In 1969, Adeline Andre started work at Christian Dior.
She later worked at Louis Feraud and Castelbajac.
In 1981, Adeline started her own designer house, Adeline André.
Adeline presented her first runway show in the fall of 1983/4.
In 1994, she opened a larger workshop in Paris.
In May 1997, Adeline Andre became an invited member of the Syndicate Chamber of Parisian Couture.
