DIGESTION

If food is not digested properly you can experience flatulence, wind, pains in the stomach, diarrhoea or constipation. This may be associated with malabsorption problems and malnutrition.

It may also accompany one of the many bowel disorders.

Make sure your diet is well balanced with nutritous foods especially fresh vegtables, fruit, fish, chicken, dairy products and meat. Eat slowly in a relaxed manner.

Herbs to help include Licorace, Meadow Sweet, Chamomile and Golden Seal. Antibiotics may lead to a depletion of friendly intestinal bacteria.

It is recommended you take Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium Bifidum. If none of your efforts appear to be working see your local health professional and talk about posssible food or chemical sensitivities.
