DAGOBA

A Dagoba is a Buddhist shrine or mound.

It contains relics of the Buddha or a saint.

The typical relics would be teeth, pieces of bone, fragments from the Bodhi tree.

Some examples of Dagobas may be found in India, Sri Lanka and Burma.

In soma ways Dagobas resemble Stupas.
