Ludwig van Beethoven

Ludwig van Beethoven was born December, 1770, in Bonn, Germany. In his early years Ludwig was taught music by his father.

An interesting point is that from around age 28, Beethoven eventually became deaf at which point he wrote his last symphony, "the Ninth".

During his life Beethoven was never married. Ludwig van Beethoven died March 26, 1827. During his life, Beethoven is credited with 9 symphonies, 32 piano sonatas, 5 piano concertos, violin concerto, 2 Masses, and an opera.
