CHELATION THERAPY

Chelation therapy was first used by the U.S. navy to treat led poisoning in the 1940s. It involves the administration of a synthetic form of the amino acid EDTA.

It is to "chelate" heavy metals and toxins from the bloodstream. It also breaks down calcium deposits and plaque from the artery walls.

The patient is hooked to an intravenous drip which contains a solution of EDTA, vitamins and minerals. The treatment is carried out by a qualified Doctor.

Tests on circulation, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar levels, kidney and organ function are taken during the treatment. A session usually lasts about three hours.

Usually about 20 sessions are recommended.
