The Ocicat is a rare breed of Cat that gets its name from its strong resemblance to the "Ocelot".
The Ocicat was developed from interbreeding the Abyssinian, American Shorthair and Siamese Cat.
The first breeder of Ocicats was Virginia Daly, of Berkley, Michigan.
They are a spotted, muscled Cat with a tight coat that has a satin sheen.
Although the Ocicat has a wild appearence, they are in fact a very gentle cat.
