Wolseley Car History

In 1895, the Wolseley Autocar No. 1 was produced by Herbert Austin in the United Kingdom. In 1905, the Wolseley Motor Company was founded. Wolseley specialized in selling upmarket cars.

In 1926, Wolseley was purchased by William Morris, 1st Viscount Nuffield. These days, Wolseley marque is owned by the MG Rover Group.
