Jack Brabham was born on April 2, 1926, in Australia.
Brabham worked in the local garage after leaving school.
He also studyied engineering at Kogarah Technical.
During WW 11, Brabham did two years duty in the Air Force.
Jack made his racing debut at Paramatta Park Speedway.
It was the start of things to come.
During his first season, Brabham won the New South Wales Championship.
Jack had his Grand prix debut at Aintree in 1955.
Brabham then joined up with the Cooper team and went on to win the World Championship.
Brabham was a 3-time Formula One champion.
He is a member of the Hall of Fame.
Jack retired at only 44 years old with his last race being the Mexican Grand Prix.
