STEREO CAMERAS

Stereo Cameras are cameras with usually two, but sometimes more lenses. However, not all two lense cameras are stereo cameras.

Stereo cameras capture 3-D Images by use of two or more lenses which simulate human binocular vision.

Stereo cameras became highly popular during the 1950`s with the intro of the stereo realist and others.

Stereo Cameras are sometimes used in cars to detect the roads width and proximity of obstacles.
