James Harold Wilson was born on March 11, 1916 in Huddersfield.
Harold studied at the Wirral Grammar School for Boys, the Jesus College, Oxford and youngest Oxford University.
For a while Wilson lectured in economics at New College and then at University College.
During World War 2 Harold was assigned into the Civil Service.
Wilson served served as Prime Minister from 1964-1970 and 1974-1976.
He was knighted in 1976.
Harold Wilson died May 24, 1995.
He is buried on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly. His epitaph is Tempus Imperator Rerum (Time Commands All Things). His memorial service was held in Westminster Abbey on 13 July.
