At the start of the 16th century the Bloodhound was used to track man.
Bloodhounds are aggressive in the sense that they will want to finish trails and that they can be almost impossible to call off once on a track.
The Bloodhound is the largest and strongest breed of hound.
Males can reach 130 pounds and the females can weigh in at 100.
A bloodhound has no street sense and as such should not be allowed anywhere near a road unless on a leash.
Bloodhounds require a large amount of daily excercise and are therefore are not suitable for small spaces as they require plenty of free running.
