Jules Verne was born February 8, 1828, in Nantes, France.
He studied at the Nantes lycée, then later studied law.
He was best known for his works: "A Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "Around the World in Eighty Days".
Many of his novels have been made into movies.
Jules Verne died March 24, 1905.
