Aldous Huxley was born July 26, 1894 in Godalming, Surrey, England.
His family were highly educated and respected.
His Father a writer, his brother a biologist.
Huxley studied at Eton, then later at Oxford University.
While at Oxford he became close friends with D. H. Lawrence.
Aldous had wrote his first novel by the age seventeen.
In 1919, he married Maria Nys.
Aldous Huxley died November 22, 1963.
It was the novel "Brave New World" that gained Huxley the most fame.
But he also wrote poetry, short stories and film scripts.
