Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol: Born: 1930, Pittsburgh, USA.

His father, a construction worker, died when Andy was 13 years old.

Studied commercial art at the Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh.

Later, he moved to New York.

In 1952, he had his first one man show exhibition at the Hugo Gallery in New York.

In 1968, Warhol was shot in his chest by a woman named Valerie Solanis.
