Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec: Born: 1864, Albi.
He studied with French academic painters.
His paintins reflected places he frequented, such as the "Moulin Rouge" and the circus.
Displayed his work at the Les XX exhibition in Brussels in 1888.
Theo van Gogh bought one of his pictures for the Goupil gallery.
Joined the Impressionists and Symbolists at their exhibition in the gallery Le Barc de Boutteville in 1891.
In 1899, he was taken to a mental hospital in Neuilly.
Died in 1901.
