In Buddhist doctrine Anatta is a belief that there is no permanent human soul that reincarnates from one body to another.
Gautama Buddha described the individual person not as a specific soul inhabiting a body, but as a collection of events, perceptions, and sensations within the spectrum of human consciousness , and which is in a constant state of flux.
Consequently, no fixed entity could survive death and pass to another realm.
