BRUCE LEE BIOGRAPHY

Bruce Lee was born Lee Jun Fan in San francisco, USA, November 27th, 1940. A year later the family moved back to Hong Kong. Bruce Lee appeared in his first film, "The Beginning Of A Boy" at only 6 yrs old.

At the age of thirteen he started training under Siju Yip Man, a master of the Wing Chun system of Gung Fu. Six years later he returned to San Francisco. In 1961, Bruce Lee enrolled at the University of Washington.

In 1964, Bruce Lee married Linda. Bruce Lee gave private lessons at $250 per hour to stars such as James Coburn, Steve McQueen, Jim "the afro" Kelly. In 1973, Enter the Dragon was finally completed and on July 20th, 1973, Bruse Lee passed away at age 23, due to Cerebral Edema. Lee became an iconic figure, particularly among the Chinese. Lee is noted for his roles in five feature length films, Lo Wei's The Big Boss (1971) and Fist of Fury (1972); Way of the Dragon (1972), directed and written by Bruce Lee; Warner Brothers' Enter the Dragon (1973), directed by Robert Clouse, and The Game of Death (1978).
